WILLISTON, S.C. – Grave-side funeral services for James Rudolph Pennington, 91, of Williston will be held three p.m., Friday, February 1, 2013 at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Floyd Dukes officiating. The family will receive friends from one-thirty until two-thirty p.m. at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, SC on Friday. Mr. Rudolph passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013.

Born in Aiken County, SC he was a son of the late Richard Anderson Pennington and Estelle Wall Pennington. He was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church and since 1946 owned and operated Williston Wrecking Yard.

Survivors include his wife, Violet Widener Pennington of the home; sons, Ted (Connie) Pennington of North Augusta, Billy (Marie) Pennington of Williston; grandchildren, Austin Pennington, Brandon Pennington, Dawn Pennington, Marie Brown; sister, Mildred Huffman of Aiken; brother, Melvin Pennington of Windsor. He was preceded in death by sisters, June Newsome and Vivian Bradberry and a brother, Roy Pennington.
