AIKEN, S.C. – Mr. Ozell Alonzo George, age 100, widower of Mary L,. George, of 1028 Edgefield Avenue NW passed away at his residence on March 1, 2013. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 8, 2013 at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Whiteville, NC with Rev. Lance officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memory: daughters, Penelope (James) Hart, Beverly Ann Edwards, and Claudine (Dave) Sanders; son, Ozell (Sheryl Hill) George, Jr.; sister, Alice Evans; twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives..

Visitation with the family will be held from 6-8 PM Monday,March 4, 2013 at Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home.

Friends may call at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Penelope (James) Hart, 1028 Edgefield Avenue, NW or at the funeral home beginning 12 Noon Monday.
