NEW ELLENTON – Mr. John Henry Smith Sr., 78, of 510 E. Pine St., entered into rest February 19, 2013 at Aiken Regional Medical Center. Funeral arrangements will be announced.

Mr. Smith was a member of the Crown Christian Center and enjoyed fishing & hunting.

Survivors include his wife, Ida Smith, New Ellenton; 3 daughters, Jackie (Charles) Cato, New Ellenton, Brenda (Stanley) Walker & Sandra Smith both of Aiken; 2 sons, John (Jeannie) Smith Jr., Aiken & Joseph (Mary Lee) Smith, Jackson, SC; 6 sisters, Ollie (Finace) Bush Sr., Nancy (Andrew) Bush, Dora Bell Cook, Emma Lee Walker, Laura (Murray) Riley all of Aiken & Lizzie Aaron, Augusta, GA; 2 brothers, James (Lorraine) Smith, New Ellenton & Peter Smith, Aiken; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; father-in-law, Webster Dunbar S., New Ellenton; and a host of other relatives.
