Mrs. Watson, widow of Derl C. Watson, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2013.
Born in Franklin County, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late George L. and Louella Morgan Smith. She was member of Memorial Baptist Church, where she was active in the WMU, the choir and was director of the children’s Sunday School Department.
Mrs. Watson also did volunteer work at the Cumbie Center. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her son, Randy D. Watson, MD (Kay) of Aiken; daughters, Deborah Davis (Charles) of N. Augusta, Bonnie Squires (David) and Terri Garris (Louis) all of Aiken; sisters, Frances Smith and Ruth Purcell, both of Georgia; 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Gilmore.
