LANGLEY, S.C. – “God Is Ready for Me”….. Mr. James Allen Thomas, son, father, grandfather and friend, went to a better place on Monday, March 25th, 2013, at the age of 60.

A native of Cincinnati, OH and a graduate of Purcell Catholic School, he was skilled in masonry and carpentry, as was his father. He moved to Lorain, OH, where he was employed by USS Steel Industry and other companies.

He came South in the early 90’s at the request of longtime companion and mother to his two youngest daughters, Tonya Fleming.

James loved to watch movies, especially with nieces, Cstaniya and Jocelyn and an occasional fishing trip. His most rewarding activity was teaching and caring for his granddaughter Ariana whom he called his “little jumper”.

Already there to embrace him are his father James Thomas, grandparents, Gilbert and Lucille White and nephew, Blaine Thomas, Jr.

Additional family members include his children, Michelle Thomas, Patrice Thomas, Karmela Hitchmens, Shaniquia Thomas and Farris Thomas Gregerson, (Richard) , mother, Mary Ada Thomas, brother, Blaine Thomas, sister, Patricia Kincaid, (Brian) and loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
