WASHINGTON, D.C. – LT. Commander Retired, Bruce Tillman Mundy, age 88 of Washington, D.C., formerly of Graniteville, S.C., entered into rest Wednesday, January 23, 2013. He is survived by sons, Edward B. Mundy of Graniteville, S.C.. Robert K. Mundy of Florida and Bruce Tillman (Sandy) Mundy, Jr. of Aiken, S.C.; daughters, Brenda K. Adams of Iowa, Cynthia Kaye of Woodstock, Virginia and Katherine Mundy of Rock Hill, S.C.; a brother, Harold “Red” Mundy of Graniteville, S.C. and a number of grandchildren.

He was born in Granite-ville, S.C. to the late Owen A. and Katie Green Mundy. He was a US Navy Veteran having bravely served his country during World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. Yes, a sage has passed, and he shall be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched during the 88 precious years that God granted him on this earth; however, he shall live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends.

A memorial service, celebrating his life, will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with full Military Honors. The interment was private.
