Gerald and Claire Carroll celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their family and friends on Aug. 4, 2012.
Gerald R. Carroll and Claire C. McDonnell were married on Aug. 4, 1962, at St. Gabriel's Church in New Rochelle, N.Y.
The couple celebrated their golden anniversary with a special Latin Mass on Saturday officiated by the Rev. Gregory Wilson at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church.
The Carrolls' seven children, their spouses, nineteen grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends celebrated with them by attending Mass, followed by a dinner reception and party at Rye Patch.
Gerald is retired from Westinghouse Electric Corporation, where he served in various senior management positions. He is a dedicated husband, father and grandfather.
Claire is a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Additionally, she spent time teaching second grade while living abroad.
