Chaplain's corner: Always good

It is not unusual to see research which shows a positive correlation between gratitude and improvements in insomnia, depression, and even heart disease.

We generally accept the premise that persons who express thanks and appreciation tend to find more contentment than do those who look on the negative side of life.

A helpful way to approach this matter involves making the decision to find something every day for which to give thanks. The Bible has taught us all along that "It is good to give thanks to the LORD, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High" (Psalm 92:1).
