Bolivia Run a success
Will Rudisill and Jennifer Oerman took top honors in the 5-kilometer portion of the annual Bolivia benefit run, recently held at Riverview Park.
Rudisill was first among the men, followed most closely by Adam McFall and Joey Knight. Oerman was tops among the women, with Camilla Wemceslau and Anne Huby finishing second and third, respectively.
The Oct. 13 event is a fundraiser for Grace United Methodist Church's annual mission projects in Bolivia.
The 5K's age-group winners, among the males, were Casey Tom (9-11), Isaac Hergott (12-14), Glenn Barnes (15-19), Stephen McFall (20-24), Daryl Reynolds (25-29), Jason Oerman (30-34), David Lusk (40-44), Charles McKeel (45-49), Tracy Rudisill (50-54), Glen Chamberlain (55-59), Jim Knight (60-64) and Joe Lusk (65-69).
The top females, by age group, were Ashley Crawford (15-19), Ashley Withers (20-24), Vicki Graf (25-29), Flynt Connor (30-34), Michelle Sweat (35-39), Tiffany Moseley (40-44), Kelly Stanley (45-49), Maggie Duncan (50-54), Annette Putnam (55-59) and Pam Pope (60-64).
In the one-mile run, the boys' age-group leaders were 4-year-old Jackson Kirkbride (5 and under), Eli Hergot (8-9), Will Biebesheimer (10-11) and Bryce Morris (12-13).
Among the girls, the list included Lydia McFall (5 and under), Genny Beavers (6-7), Esther McFall (8-9), Laura Hergott (10-11) and Jordan Gambrell (12-13).
Randy Parks was the top walker among men in the 5K, and Marie Jackson was the fastest woman among the 5K walkers.
