What's your favorite at ... Sportsman's Bar-B-Q?

Sportsman's Bar-B-Q, at 2002 West Martintown Road, has been in business at its current Edgefield County location for "about 15 years," by some estimates. The rustic-style eatery has its walls decked out with university flags along with fishing and hunting trophies.

Owner Butch Bone is also known to some as the owner of Al's Family Restaurant. The surrounding community is known to some as Clarks Hill and to some as Merriwether. Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday through Saturday. Details are at 279-1212.
