Anglican Church to host homeless meeting
The Anglican Church of the Holy Trinity, at 160 Merovan Drive, will play host on May 22 to “a free supper and meeting about helping the homeless in North Augusta,” with the featured speaker being Sarah McDonald, director of Interfaith Hospitality Network of Augusta.
An announcement from the church noted, “This ministry is committed to helping homeless families achieve lasting independence by providing temporary, safe shelter, meals, day care and support services. They also partner with other programs designed to redress some of the underlying causes of homelessness.”
