Student column: Creek speaks
Mossy Creek Elementary school is participating in Be A Bunny. We will be asking the classes to bring in things for the senior citizens. Some of the things that we will be providing are slippers, bath supplies, books, crossword puzzles, glasses cases, first-aid kits, night lights/flash lights, stationary papers and stamps, pill boxes, sugar-free candy and stuffed animals. We did the Souper Bowl of Caring before Be A Bunny, and we did a great job. We collected 755 cans. We also recycle. Be A Bunny will be our third activity that we have done in Student Council. We will also do some more activities that help other people this year. We will look at some ideas for helping in our school or community. Student Council will be expected to complete at least one service by the end of the school year. We will write a paragraph about what we did and describe how it made us feel once completed.
