Scott Rodgers now has joined the reporting staff at The Star.
Rodgers is a graduate of Alvernia University, where he received a bachelor's degree in communications and English.
He previously worked at the Aiken Standard and has experience in covering news and sports, and pursuing a master's degree from Drexel University.

"I'm very pleased to have Scott join The Star," Hanna, a North Augusta native, said. "Scott has the drive to do the job well, and he has great news instincts. He is a wonderful addition to the staff."
