Sons of Jubal, Churchmen to perform

The Sons of Jubal and the S.C. Singing Churchmen will perform in a joint concert at First Baptist Church, North Augusta, on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 7 p.m.

The two groups are made up of music directors at churches in Georgia and South Carolina.

St. Bart's to hold Ash Wednesday service

St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, 471 West Martintown Road, will have Ash Wednesday services on Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Spring Grove to hold 12th anniversary

Spring Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1677 Womrath Road, will mark the 12th anniversary of its male chorus on Feb. 9, with a 5 p.m. event.

Hammond Grove to sponsor workshop

Hammond Grove Word Power Ministry, 214 W. Five Notch Road. North Augusta, will sponsor "The Fate of a Young Man Mentoring Workshop" on Saturday, Feb. 9, at 10:15 a.m. Minister Yannik McKie will be the facilitator. The workshop is for men who want to establish a successful mentoring program and discover creative mentoring methods. Free.

Hammond Grove to celebrate black history

Hammond Grove Word Power Ministry, 214 W. Five Notch Road, North Augusta, will have a Youth Black History Celebration on Saturday, Feb. 16, at 5 p.m. Dinner will be served.

Bible Chapel to hold Kid's Night Out

There will be Kids' Night Out at the North Augusta Bible Chapel every Friday night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 1 through March 15. All kids, first through fifth grades, are invited to participate in games, snacks, puppets and Bible messages. North Augusta Bible Chapel is located at the corner of Martintown Road and Hammond Drive.

Sunday School meets at First Providence

First Providence Baptist Church, located at 315 Barton Road, holds Sunday School classes every Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m.

Children's church follows at 9:15 a.m., with the regular worship service set for 9:45 a.m.
