North Augusta Baptist to honor pastor

The Rev. Martin Ryan, pastor of North Augusta Baptist Church, will be honored on Sunday, Jan. 20, at 3 p.m. on the occasion of his third anniversary with the congregation, at 508 Jackson Avenue.

The gathering is to include the Rev. Arthur Kemp and members of his congregation, Bethlehem Missionary Baptist, also of North Augusta. Details are available at 279-1599.

Sons of Jubal, Singing Churchmen to perform

The Sons of Jubal and the S.C. Singing Churchmen will perform in a joint concert at First Baptist Church, North Augusta, on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 7 p.m.

Belvedere FBC seeking clothing donation

Belvedere First Baptist Church, 421 Edgefield Road, Belvedere, is seeking donations of gently-used women's clothing, shoes and accessories for a clothing exchange. Donations will be accepted at the Fellowship Hall on Friday, Jan. 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. All women are invited to drop by the Fellowship Hall anytime on Jan. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to browse through the donations and take clothing and accessories that need a new home. Ministry dedication service to be held

Dedication of Ministries Service will be held on Sunday, Jan. 27, at 4 p.m. The guest minister will be Dr. Victor Thomas and Greater Mt. Canaan Baptist Church, Augusta. The Fate of a Young Man Mentoring Workshop will be held on Saturday, Feb. 9, at 10:15 a.m. Minister Yannik McKie, facilitator. For men who want to establish a successful mentoring program and discover creative mentoring methods. Youth Black History Celebration will be held on Saturday, Feb. 16, at 5 p.m.

Runs Missionary to celebrate pastor

Runs Missionary Baptist Church, 717 Williston Rd., Beech Island, will celebrate the third Pastoral Appreciation Day of the Rev. Stevie Berry on Sunday, Jan. 20, at 8 a.m. Minister Reginald Hinton, associate minister at St. Mary's Free Will Baptist Church, in Apex, N.C., will be the guest minister.

First Providence offers several service options

First Providence Baptist Church, 315 Barton Road, has a Senior Bible Study each Wednesday at noon.

Also, on Wednesday evening, there is a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. followed by a Bible study at 7 p.m.

Sunday School classes meet every Sunday at 8:30 a.m.

Children's church follows at 9:15 a.m., with the regular worship service set for 9:45 a.m.
