LETTER: Dickert's planning, decision-making skills an asset city needs
Dickert's planning skills an asset city needs
I have known Fletcher Dickert for four years. We serve together as volunteer leaders for Element, the student ministry for True North Church. Over the past few years, I have had the opportunity to work closely with Fletcher during youth retreats that he has helped plan.
Fletcher and his wife, Ashley, recently welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Zoe, to the world. It is refreshing to see a young father balancing his home and work with his desire to be a part of our city council and improve the quality of life for all in our community.
When Fletcher told me that he was thinking about running for city council, I told him that he would be a perfect fit. Whether it is in the construction industry or in everyday life, he always exhibits sound planning and decision making. Fletcher demonstrated these skills again recently when asked his opinion on the baseball stadium coming to North Augusta saying the project deserved further study before committing to all phases. I applaud his plan to invest money to fix up the downtown so that we can attract new businesses.
I support Fletcher Dickert for North Augusta City Council.
