Drills - On Thursday, Nov. 8, the school will conduct a fire drill. After that a fire drill will be held every month. Then on Friday, Nov. 9, the school will conduct the Unwanted Intruder Drills, which is practiced to prepare for someone entering the building that could be a danger to a student or adult in the building. The drill consists of locking down the building and shutting off access to the students, faculty or staff then verifying that all students, faculty and staff are safe and unharmed. These drills are reviewed with the students before they occur to reassure the students of procedures and that it is only a drill to reduce anxiety. For more information, contact Ms. Lee.
