North Augusta crime blotter

A larceny occurred May 8 or 9 on River Oak Drive. The loss included a lawn bench and two plants – $140 in combined value.

A Stihl-brand backpack blower was stolen in a larceny May 9 on Edgefield Road. It was valued at $400.

An Acer laptop computer valued at $1,000 was stolen in a vehicle break-in and larceny April 30 on West Martintown Road. The intruder(s) also did $1,000 in damage to the vehicle.

A burglary occurred May 3 on Winyah Drive, with $5,170 in items being stolen. Taken was a red and silver 2001 Honda CVR250 motorcycle with South Carolina tag 44441. Also stolen was a Troy-Bilt chainsaw and a gas can.

A Bismark Circle residence was the scene of a May 3 larceny. The loss included a $500 Samsung Galaxy cell phone. A North Augusta man is a suspect in the case.

A larceny occurred on Jackson Avenue May 5, with the taking of $500 in cash from the middle console of a locked vehicle. The driver’s-side window was broken out.
