Chaplain's Corner: Take Action

A friend wrote us a thoughtful note during an occasion of illness in our family. His words reflected gratitude for all those who reached out with prayers and love during his time of ill health. We felt grateful for his kind words and the depth of meaning in his expression of concern. Filled with gratitude that gifts of kindness had been extended to him, he chose to take action by sharing the encouragement he had received. As 2 Corinthians 1:4 states, "He comforts us in all our troubles. Now we can comfort others when they are in trouble. We ourselves have received comfort from God."
