A larceny and vehicle break-in occurred Jan. 21 on Bergen Road at the Greeneway. The loss included $800 in items, including a purse, a wallet, credit cards, checkbooks and related material.
A grand larceny occurred on River Bluff Road between Dec. 20 and Dec. 30, and was reported on Jan. 19. The loss included $2,500 in jewelry taken from various places within a residence while it was undergoing remodeling.
Three laptop computers were stolen in a shoplifting incident at a variety store on Knox Avenue on Jan. 18. Both thieves - one man and one woman - left in a gray vehicle, possibly a Chevrolet Monte Carlo or a two-door Cadillac, and were described as black and 25 years old. The computers' brands were Hewlett-Packard, Sony and Dell.
An incident of vandalism and grand larceny occurred on East Marion Avenue on Jan. 17 at a business, with $3,000 in damage done - mostly to a truck that was crashed into a fence.
Two Augusta women were arrested and jailed Jan. 15 on shoplifting charges, after an incident at a variety store on Knox Avenue, with $132.71 in hardware being stolen.
